Puppy Care & Health

How are your puppies cared for?

Our puppies are raised right here at Pawtale Puppies with hands-on, daily care from the moment they’re born. They are kept in clean, climate-controlled areas, monitored closely, and loved on every day. We follow structured routines for feeding, cleaning, and enrichment so each puppy grows in a safe, nurturing environment that supports both physical and emotional development.

How are the puppies socialized?

Socialization is a huge priority for us. Our puppies are gently introduced to everyday sights, sounds, textures, and routines. They experience normal household noises, handling, and age-appropriate play. This early exposure helps them transition confidently into family life and sets the foundation for well-adjusted temperaments.

What vaccines and dewormers have they had?

All puppies are kept on a strict veterinary-recommended vaccination and deworming schedule appropriate for their age. This includes routine deworming and their first set(s) of puppy vaccines before going home. Each puppy goes home with clear health records so you know exactly what has been given and when future care is due.

Has our puppy seen a vet?

Yes. Every puppy receives a thorough veterinary health check prior to going home to ensure they are healthy, thriving, and ready to join their new family.

What is your health guarantee?

We proudly offer a 4-year genetic health guarantee, reflecting our commitment to ethical breeding, healthy parents, and thoughtful pairing. Full details are outlined in our buyer’s agreement for clarity and peace of mind.

Is our puppy good with children?

Our puppies are raised with regular handling and exposure to family life. While every puppy has a unique personality, our early socialization helps them adapt well to homes with respectful children. We’re happy to help guide families in choosing the best fit.

What Food Do You Use?

Our puppies are fed a high-quality, carefully selected diet that supports healthy growth and digestion. Specific food information is provided so you can continue a smooth transition at home.

How often do you feed?

Puppies are fed multiple small meals per day based on their age and developmental needs. A detailed feeding schedule is provided at go-home.
