First let me say that he was very professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and most importantly, Melvin has a true passion for what he is doing. The location where he breeds and raises the puppies is also connected to his home. Therefore he is never disconnected from the puppies or his family. Everything about this made us feel more comfortable and trusting purchasing a puppy from him.
His belief and process for raising his puppies until they are ready to go home with you is amazing. He truly cares about each and every puppy making sure they are healthy, socialized, are exercised, are played with, and loved. In my opinion this makes a huge difference and sets them apart from every "pet store". This I believe will also help develop the dogs personality.
Our puppy, an almost 9 week old mini bernedoodle, is amazing. You can tell she was socialized because she is not timid or shy. She has the perfect temperament as well. She is playful, seems to listen very well, and is already our shadow following us everywhere and wanting to be held and pet all the time. The bond was almost immediate. All of this is because of the process Melvin truly believes in and makes sure all of his puppies are raised this way. A true testament to his passion.
